On behalf of the Organising Committee, it is with great pleasure and anticipation that I welcome all of you to the 7th International Conference on Molecular Biology and Biotechnology 2024 (ICMBB 2024) in conjunction with the 6th USIM International Health Conference (IHeC) 2024.

For the past three years, ICMBB conferences were organised virtually due to the pandemic, and this year we are back to physical meetings. This joint meetings is a testament to the collaborative effort by MSMBB and USIM to drive the research and innovation progress in the fields of health sciences, molecular biology and biotechnology.

The theme for this year’s conference,  “Transdisciplinary synergy: Shaping a sustainable future for a better world” underlines the pivotal role that cooperation and interdisciplinary approaches play in addressing the complex challenges facing our world today. The need for collaborative efforts has never been more evident, as we navigate a rapidly evolving landscape marked by scientific breakthroughs, technological advancements, and global health concerns.

Molecular biology and biotechnology have become indispensable components of science, providing unattainable understandings of the functioning of living organisms and innovative solutions to some of the most significant issues confronting humankind. The integration of these fields with the health sciences enhances our ability to advance global health and enhance patient outcomes.

As the Chairperson of this conference, I extend my gratitude to the Organising Committee for all their hard work, commitment, and dedication in organising this conference. I would like to sincerely thank the distinguished speakers for taking their time to speak and share their expertise with us. Finally, without the outstanding abstract submissions from presenters, the encouragement of those who are not presenting, and the financial support of our sponsors, the conference would not be possible.

I encourage all participants to actively engage in the sessions, network with fellow professionals, and seize the opportunity to contribute to the collective wisdom that will emerge from this gathering. Together, let us harness the power of transdisciplinary synergy to shape a sustainable future for a better world.
